Reduce California DWI Charges and Fines

In California, the vehicle code clearly states that taking a defensive driving class cannot be grounds for reducing fines in a DUI case. However, in some cases prosecutors may accept a plea bargain from DUI to reckless driving. In those circumstances, a California defensive driving class could be ordered at the judge's discretion.

If you are ordered to take a California defensive driving class, the easiest way to do it is to take the online course offered by Driving University. If the court approves, you’ll be able to take your defensive driving class over the internet from your home computer. Even better, Driving University’s course teaches you the information you need to know to be a safe driver and the importance of being a sober driver in a fun, easy-to-understand format.
